We put the consumer at the center of everything we do and we're looking for people who do the same.Reporting into the Mississauga Distribution Centre Supervisor, the Transportation and Shipping Office Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating warehouse / carrier traffic, supports inventory control processes, works daily with carrier partners, and collaborates daily with Mississauga Distribution Centre, and any other internal customers.This position is contract and is for the afternoon shift (3:30pm-11:30pm).What you’ll be doing:Daily Tasks and ResponsibilitiesComplete Daily Shipping Documents for all outbound loadsPlan and coordinate transportation for daily shipments with carriers and manage the timely delivery to customers on time and in fullEnsure customer returns are returned from carrier in a timely manner working alongside with CSR and Inside salesMaintain Daily Standard Operating ProceduresWork with Mississauga Distribution Centre Supervisors on daily order processing for pick,



pack and ship on time and in full right the first timeWork with Customer Service and the Inside Sales Team on delivery issues providing support and resolutionBuild and maintain carrier delivery issue reporting matrixWork with the CSR and Inside Sales Team on order fulfillment discrepanciesBuild and maintain order discrepancy fulfillment reporting matrixBuild, maintain and track carrier reporting scored card, setting metrics and reviewed monthly with management team and carriersPoint of contact for carriers and point of contact for follow ups for the CSR and Inside Sales Team and any other internal stakeholders, document issues and escalation process as requiredInventory Control & AccuracyEnsure product holds and releases, are actioned after removals to process order transactions remain compliant to the processIdentify opportunities to increase order fulfillment controls and accuracyRefuse noncompliant inbound / outbound carriers and report to Mississauga Distribution Centre Supervisor for escalationManagement of damages from carriersWork with Supervisors on inventory issues and discrepancies when closing of ordersEnsuring data integrity when closing of order in the system driving inventory accuracyHealth & SafetyEnsure compliance to ISO and HACCP GuidelinesIdentify opportunities to increase complianceSupport objectives of the Health & Safety CommitteeOther SupportIdentify opportunities for process improvementIdentify opportunities for cost saving initiativesProvide vacation coverageAny other tasks or duties identified or assignedWho you are:Secondary School Diploma1-2 years Transportation, Logistics,
