Become a Building Life Systems Compliance Coordinator at the City of Markham, ensuring fire and life safety compliance across municipal facilities. This full-time role involves vital record maintenance and inspection coordination under the Ontario Fire Code.

You will support the Manager of Capital Delivery by tracking inspections and overseeing compliance programs within the City’s Asset Management framework. Your role will require interaction with various departments to maintain safety standards and transparent documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain inventories of legislated maintenance tasks
• Coordinate inspection and maintenance schedules
• Review compliance reports submitted by contractors




• Conduct audits and compile internal review records
• Generate compliance dashboards and reports

Requirements:
• Diploma in Facilities Management or similar area
• 3–5 years of experience in maintenance tracking
• Familiarity with Ontario Fire Code standards
• Experience with Enterprise Asset Management software
• Valid Ontario Class “G” driver's licence
