We have an exciting chance for someone to join our Children and Family Support Team to provide pre and post bereavement support to children, young people, and families where a parent (or primary carer) has a life limiting condition or has died. Support sessions may take place in one-to-one, family and group settings at the hospice, at home and in schools.
You Will Need Certificate, diploma or degree in healthcare, education, or social work to support this role
Experience of working with children, young people, and families (e.g. healthcare, school, charity, social work, youth work, children/family centre, etc)
Experience Of Working With Bereavement Or Loss Providing Support
Experience of working with groups or families
Experience of working creatively and therapeutically with children and young people (e.g. Art, Play, Drama, Music Therapy, etc)
Appointment to this role is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check for work with adults and children.
