Join the University of Alberta as a Recreation Facility Operator I in Edmonton, AB, where your work will directly enhance community sports experiences. This in office role involves managing the operations of multiple sports facilities.

As a full time Operator, you will focus on ice preparation, facility monitoring, and maintenance tasks. You will engage with users and lead casual staff to ensure seamless service and uphold safety throughout the facilities. Your responsibilities may also include inspecting facilities, logistics for events, and addressing emergencies while representing CCR values.

Key Responsibilities:



• Execute ice maintenance and facility cleanup duties • Facilitate facility access and monitor safety conditions • Coordinate setups for outdoor and indoor events • Repair sports equipment and maintain exterior grounds • Support training for current and existing staff members

Requirements: • High School Diploma mandatory; Kinesiology degree is an asset • Must hold a valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license • Current Intermediate First Aid and CPR certification required • Past experience in recreation facilities preferred • Additional training in safety operations desirable
