Our Whole Office division provides fractional accounting services to a myriad of clientele, with services ranging from accounts payable and accounts receivable support to CFO services.

Position Description:
We are seeking an organized, service-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing Whole Office team in Prince George, B.C.

You are a detail-focused professional who takes pride in accuracy, efficiency, and maintaining strong vendor relationships. You thrive in a fast-paced, multi-client setting and understand that timely and accurate payment processing is critical to a company’s financial success. You enjoy bringing order to complex workflows and are committed to maintaining high standards in payables administration.

Job Duties:

Invoicing Processing : Reviewing, coding and entering vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner,

Payment Administration : Preparing biweekly electronic payments

Vendor Management : Responding to vendor inquiries,



resolving discrepancies, and maintaining positive business relationships

Vendor Reconciliations : Reconciling vendor statements and investigating outstanding balances or variances

Expense Management : Reviewing employee expense reports for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies

Month-end Support : Assisting with accounts payable accruals, reconciliations, and month-end reporting requirements

Process improvement : Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy and internal controls within the accounts payable function

Credentials:

Minimum 2 years' accounts payable experience in a high-volume environment

Experience with cloud-based accounting software systems, such as QuickBooks Online

Experience working in organizations with multiple entities would be considered an asset

Intermediate or advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage and organize multiple companies' payables

Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and work independently

Remuneration:

Job type : Full-time

Work location : in office, Prince George, B.C.

Salary : $60,000-$65,000, commensurate on experience

Vacation and PTO : Three weeks initially; four weeks after 3 years employment; paid leave between Christmas and New Years

Health benefits : Provided after 3 months of employment on a cost-share basis
