As a full time Production Engineer, your mission will involve the design and improvement of tools and methods for shipbuilding processes. You will collaborate with multiple teams to ensure accuracy and constructability in production documents. Your experience will also focus on managing engineering test plans and providing technical leadership to junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop MIs for specialized installation procedures
• Design jigs, fixtures, and various production tools
• Review vendor documentation for accuracy in implementation
• Support engineering test activity planning
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent qualification
• 3+ years in shipbuilding or industrial manufacturing experience
• Knowledge of ship systems and relevant regulations
• Proficient with AutoCAD and technical documentation
• Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings
