Reporting to the Director at Oshki Kizis Lodge, this physically demanding position engages with First Nation, Inuit, and Métis women at risk of homelessness or trafficking. Using a van, you'll provide significant advocacy and access to local services while managing multiple responsibilities during your shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide evening support as part of a two-person team
• Offer direct assistance to women experiencing homelessness
• Manage referrals to Indigenous and mainstream services
• Keep a detailed log of services offered to clients




• Prepare resources for distribution and maintain supplies in the van
Requirements:
• Background in working with urban Indigenous communities necessary
• Minimum 2 years of related experience required
• Knowledge of Ottawa's support systems essential
• Current Criminal Records Check and First Aid certification required
• Robust communication and organizational skills
