Lead the mental health strategy at Limestone District School Board from September 2026 to August 2027. Provide expertise in crisis response and enhance student well-being through community collaboration.
The Mental Health Lead position requires a graduate degree and a minimum of three years of relevant experience. You will develop action plans, implement crisis protocols, and work closely with School Mental Health Ontario. The role aims to improve mental health literacy across staff groups and strengthen community partnerships for student support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop annual action plans for mental health strategy
• Implement crisis response protocols across the board
• Collaborate with School Mental Health Ontario
• Facilitate mental health literacy programming for staff
• Represent the Board at community and professional committees
Requirements:
• Master's or PhD in a relevant field
• Minimum three years of related experience
• Extensive clinical experience in school settings
• Knowledge of evidence-informed practices
• Robust communication and organizational skills
