As a Childcare Floater, you are pivotal in supporting individual children's needs by applying the BC Early Learning Framework and ECEBC Code of Ethics. Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure child safety and individual care during activities
• Cover shifts and assist other Early Childhood Educators
• Clean and sanitize work areas, toys,



and equipment
• Supervise children effectively both indoors and outdoors
• Support parents as primary caregivers throughout the process
Requirements:
• Active Early Childhood Educator license is a must
• Criminal record check must be renewed every 5 years
• Valid First Aid Certificate required ongoing
• Ability to lift 25 lbs and perform physical tasks
• Knowledge on handling challenging behaviors
