Our client is seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee key organizational and staffing initiatives, provide strategic input on people and culture programs, and manage day-to-day HR operations. This role will support the Calgary, Toronto, and Vancouver offices and play an important part in fostering a positive and effective workplace culture.

Duties & Responsibilities

Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for administrative staff.

Lead and coordinate annual performance reviews and employee development initiatives.

Develop and administer competitive benefit programs and support salary benchmarking relevant to the Calgary, Toronto, and Vancouver legal markets.

Serve as the primary HR advisor to the leadership team on employee relations, conflict resolution, performance management, and workplace culture.

Ensure HR policies and practices comply with applicable employment standards and legislation in each jurisdiction.

Support the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.

Provide additional HR and administrative support as required.

Qualifications

5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably with leadership or management responsibilities.





Experience working in a professional office environment; experience within a legal or professional services setting is an asset.

Post-secondary degree, diploma, or certificate in Human Resources or a related field.

CPHR designation or equivalent is considered an asset.

Strong knowledge of employment standards and HR best practices across multiple Canadian jurisdictions.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
