Take the lead as the Director of Health Equity for the Provincial Council for Maternal and Child Health at SickKids. This pivotal role focuses on advancing equity in perinatal and child health across Ontario through strategic initiatives and collaboration.

The Director will be instrumental in developing and executing a long-term Health Equity Plan aimed at improving health outcomes for underrepresented communities. With emphasis on community engagement, data-informed decision-making, and anti-racism principles, this position requires strong project management and interpersonal skills. The incumbent will partner with stakeholders to translate strategies into actionable programs that address systemic inequities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement multi-year Health Equity Plan
• Evaluate and report on progress towards equity goals




• Collaborate to embed anti-racism principles in all initiatives
• Lead projects targeting gaps in health equity for priority populations
• Supervise and support PCMCH's Indigenous Health Equity Program Manager

Requirements:
• Graduate degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
• 5-7 years of progressive leadership in equity advancement
• Advanced knowledge of social determinants of health principles
• Understanding of Indigenous health disparities and governance
• Solid project management skills in complex environments
