Join Brightshores as a full time Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Owen Sound, specializing in addiction care and patient consultations. Collaborate in a supportive environment, providing both in-person and virtual care.

In this temporary role, you'll report to the Director of Mental Health and provide comprehensive care for patients facing mental health and addiction challenges. Your responsibilities include clinical consultation, care planning, and promoting best practices in mental health. Leadership and mentoring junior staff will also be a key focus during your tenure, with extensive support and education provided.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide primary care and consultative services
• Deliver patient care in compliance with legislative acts




• Mentor nurses and interprofessional colleagues
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Manage Suboxone and Sublicade treatments

Requirements:
• Registration as a Nurse Practitioner in Ontario
• Current controlled substance education
• ACLS/BCLS certification willingness
• Advanced clinical evidence-based knowledge
• Minimum five years in mental health or addiction care
