Reporting to the Supervisor of Building Services, this position involves reviewing plans for various property types and advising on necessary revisions. You will assist in inspections and maintain records of building statistics. Your expertise will ensure safe and successful development throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assess completeness of permit applications for building code compliance
• Issue and prepare building permits in the City's system
• Provide customer service to applicants in person and online




• Collaborate with Building Inspectors during in office evaluations
• Manage and report building permit statistics

Requirements:
• Diploma in Engineering Technology or equivalent, 3 years
• 6 months experience in public sector permit management
• Completion of required examinations under Bill 124
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Valid driver's license and successful background check
