PCA is advancing a patient-centred approach that strengthens safe transitions from hospital to community. The Integrated Care Program (ICP) supports patients at high risk of readmission who require enhanced discharge planning and structured post-discharge support. The program focuses on individuals with medical and psychosocial complexity, ensuring coordinated transitions from acute care to primary care and community services. This role is ideal for an experienced administrative professional who is passionate about improving patient and system outcomes. As the Provincial Administrative Assistant, you will provide administrative, operational, and coordination support that enables the effective delivery of ICP services across Alberta. This provincial role supports the growth and ongoing optimization of the ICP by facilitating communication, coordinating meetings and activities, supporting workforce processes, assisting with reporting and tracking, and helping maintain efficient operations across multiple sites and teams. Working closely with program leadership, clinical teams, operational partners, and community organizations, you will play a key role in supporting daily program functions. The Provincial Administrative Assistant coordinates meetings, events, and partner engagement activities; maintains program records and resources; supports onboarding and offboarding processes; assists with communications; and helps ensure information flows effectively across the program. The role also supports reporting, scheduling, payroll, workforce administration, resource coordination, and program monitoring. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail,
and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential in this quick-paced environment. Beyond daily operations, this role contributes to continuous improvement initiatives and supports the ongoing evolution of the ICP.

Required Qualifications: Some post-secondary education.
Additional Required Qualifications: Post-secondary education required (e.g. certificate in office or business administration). Minimum Grade XII with Post-Secondary secretarial certificate or equivalent. Advanced/Intermediate knowledge of computer technology and applications (including but not limited to: Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and virtual collaboration platforms. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Excellent time management and prioritization capability. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Knowledge of organizational administrative, payroll, and workforce processes. Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information appropriately. Strong customer service and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to work independently while supporting interdisciplinary teams.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience working within a high-volume, time-intensive organization. Ability to identify and know when to escalate risks to Manager. Excellent formatting, grammar syntax and proof-reading skills. Excellent organizational, time management and prioritization skills. Understanding of budget procedures and processes. Sound judgement and the ability to work independently, under pressure, within short timelines, without compromise to quality.
