Step into a vital role as the Assistant Director of Care, focusing on operational excellence in our nursing team. This position blends clinical leadership with a commitment to culturally protected practices.As the ADOC, you’ll report directly to the Director of Care and play a crucial role in overseeing resident-focused care. You will ensure compliance with the Fixing Long-Term Care Act, 2021, and engage with continuous quality improvement initiatives. A background in nursing leadership and the ability to foster connections with both staff and residents are essential in this role.Key Responsibilities:
Support the vision, mission, and values of the organization
Ensure adherence to the Residents’ Bill of Rights in care delivery
Spearhead clinical audits and compliance monitoring
Lead regular huddles and staff meetings for improvement
Mentor nursing staff and manage training programsRequirements:
Valid RN credentials and nursing experience
At least two years in a managerial capacity
Solid clinical practice knowledge and electronic proficiency
Experience in developing care policies and procedures
