Alberni-Clayoquot Regional District (ACRD) Planning Manager (Full time Exempt Position)
The Alberni-Clayoquot Regional District (ACRD) is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to join our team as the Planning Manager. Located in the heart of Vancouver Island, the ACRD encompasses the municipalities of Port Alberni, Tofino, and Ucluelet, four Treaty Nations, and six electoral areas. This diverse region is home to some of the West Coast's most spectacular natural landscapes and vibrant communities.
Reporting directly to the General Manager of Planning and Development, the Planning Manager plays a key leadership role within the Planning and Development Department. This position provides strategic direction and oversight for a broad range of complex planning initiatives while leading and mentoring a team of planning professionals.
The Planning Manager is instrumental in advancing departmental priorities, guiding land use and development planning projects,



and fostering collaborative relationships across the organization, with government partners, stakeholders, and the public.
The successful candidate will combine technical planning expertise with strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.

this is an exempt position offering an attractive salary between $106,691 to $122,223 based on your skills and qualifications plus a comprehensive benefits package.
