Join National Diabetes Trust as a part-time Truck Driver, operating up to 29 hours weekly. Collect valuable clothing donations while driving a 3-ton truck along designated routes.

This role focuses on maintaining the mission of the National Diabetes Trust while ensuring productive donation pickups from public locations. You’ll need a full Class 5 or G license along with a clean driving record to drive our trucks safely. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for this position, as well as the ability to engage with donors positively.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collect donations from homes and bins on your route
• Perform pre and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Submit daily paperwork including Hours-of-Service Logs




• Deliver message cards to each donor at pickup
• Report any route discrepancies to dispatch

Requirements:
• Must have completed Grade 12 or have equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years driving experience
• Clean driver abstract with no violations
• Ability to lift 10-50 lbs during pickups
• Strong map reading skills for efficient routes
