Youth Counsellor (Casual Overnights) Opportunity:
The Youth Counselor plays a pivotal role as a main support figure for young individuals here at Vantage. This awake overnight shift is 11:30pm - 8:00am and is vital to ensure around-the-clock support. They are an essential team member committed to delivering services to young people and families within a well-organized environment.

Robust oral and written communication skills

Willingness to constantly learn and evolve

Organized; with a strong focus on accurate and consistent record-keeping

What we offer:

Competitive salary based on education and experience

Shift differentials for overnight shifts

Additional ½ hour paid lunch period

Qualifications:

Diploma or undergraduate degree in Human Services (or actively enrolled), e.g., Child and Youth Care, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or related fields.

Experience working with young people is preferred.

Current certifications in Standard First Aid/Level C CPR, PIC, IRC, Valid Driver’s License, and Driver’s Abstract.
