Support children’s development as a Substitute Activity Leader at YMCA BC in Fort St. John. This casual role involves creating engaging programs that foster learning and inclusion.

In this on-call position, you will work with children aged 5 to 12, ensuring an enriched and welcoming environment. Collaborate with a passionate team to deliver activities that promote social skills and individual support for every child's needs. You will be responsible for maintaining safe spaces and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards while being a key part of YMCA's mission.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop age-appropriate programs for children ages 5-12
• Lead engaging educational activities indoors and outdoors




• Supervise and mentor new staff and volunteers
• Build relationships with children, families, and community members
• Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for participants

Requirements:
• At least 19 years old
• Experience with children 5-12 years old
• Ability to plan and lead inclusive activities
• Robust communication and relationship-building skills
• Emergency First Aid & CPR certification required
