Job Description
This role is about more than transporting guests, it’s about shaping the first and last impression of the guest journey. As a Resort Driver, you are a highly visible and trusted presence, often the very first welcome and the final farewell our guests experience.
Through warm, authentic interactions and meticulous attention to detail, you elevate each drive into an extension of our luxury hospitality experience.
We provide comprehensive on-the-job training to set you up for success. For candidates requiring a Class 4 driver's licence, we will support you through the process and reimbursement of the cost of a successful Class 4 test.
Start Date: September 2026
*Sign On Bonus - eligible applicants who apply on or after August 19, 2026 will receive a $500 sign-on bonus (taxable), payable over the first three months of employment, as follows: $150 after the first month, $150 after the second month, and $200 after the successful completion of the third month of employment. Payments are subject to the employee remaining actively employed and in good standing at the time each payment is due. Applicants must not have applied for a position with us within the past 6 months. For full-time status only.
What You'll Be Doing
Guest Transportation & Experience
Safely and efficiently transport guests to and from the Banff townsite, local attractions, and scheduled excursions including Lake Louise and Moraine Lake.
Operate a range of hotel vehicles including sedans, SUVs, and a 20-passenger shuttle,ensuring a smooth and comfortable ride at all times.
Welcome guests warmly and provide a professional, composed presence throughout their journey.
Assistguests with luggage loading and unloading, handling belongings with care and discretion.
Respond to guest questions with clarity and confidence, providingaccurateinformation about hotel services and amenities.
Local Knowledge & Guest Engagement
Act as a knowledgeable ambassador for Banff National Park, sharing thoughtful insights into local history, culture, wildlife, and points of interest whenappropriate.
Offer factual,
well-considered recommendations for dining, activities, and experiences aligned with guest interests.
Provide explicit directions and helpful guidance that enhances the overall guest experience without overwhelming it.
Conduct thoroughpre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting maintenance needs or concerns promptly.
Ensure all vehicles are clean, fueled, stocked, and guest-readyin accordance withRimrock standards.
Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, hotel safety policies, and driving regulations.
Maintainaccuratetrip logs, mileage records, and passenger counts.
Demonstrate defensive driving practices anduphold an impeccable safety record at all times.
Team & Operational Support
Communicate clearly with Front Desk, Expeditions,and Guest Services leadershipregardingguest movements and scheduling.
Support Guest Services operations during peak periods, including assisting with directional support or Bell Services whenrequired.
Handle guest inquiries and concerns professionally, escalating when necessary.
Work independently with confidence whileremainingaligned with team expectations and procedures.
Qualifications
What You Bring
ValidAlberta Class 4 Driver’s Licenceand a clean driving abstract.
Proven experience operating passenger vehicles safely and confidently.
Calm and courteous communication style.
Strong senseof responsibility, reliability, and punctuality.

Strong knowledge of Banff National Park and surrounding attractions.
First Aid and CPR certification.
Previousexperience driving shuttles or tour-style routes.
Familiarity with luxury hospitality environments or resort operations.

Physical Demands
Prolonged periods of sitting and driving.
Frequent bending, reaching, and handling of luggage.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs / 23kg.
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying mountain weather conditions.
Visa Requirements: Must be legallyauthorizedto work in Canada. The hotel is unable toassistcandidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
