Responsibilities:
A café supervisor oversees all aspects of a café's operations. This includes:
selling food and drinks, hiring and scheduling staff, menu planning, and maintaining inventory. The supervisor hires, trains, and oversees the café staff to ensure customers receive the highest level of satisfaction and product quality possible and leads by being a hands-on example at all times.
Continually learn about our products and provide good quality foods at all times.
Master the art of beverage preparation.
Foster a good working setting.
Welcome and encourage new staff members and act as a role model.
Assist in training, supervising, and supporting staff.
Maintain cleanliness in the coffee house at all times.
Follow company policies and procedures.
Resolve customer concerns.
Ensuring employees are following good safety and sanitation practice
Enforcing dress code and store policies
Ordering supplies in a timely manner
Build relationship with head office
Requirements:
Strong organizational, interpersonal and problem solving skills
Must have hospitality, retail and sales experience (minimum 3 years)
Ability to coach and mentor a team
Must be able to physically complete the job (eg. lift 10lb boxes, stand on feet for long period of time)
Must be able to work flexible shifts as business demands
Exceptional leadership skills.
Exceptional level of communication skills.
