Cenovus is seeking a skilled DCS Systems Technologist to provide Level 1 on-site support for critical industrial control systems. This full-time role at our Sunrise location ensures system health and uptime across operations.

As a Staff Site DCS Systems Technologist, you will monitor the health and performance of system components, conduct preventative maintenance, and troubleshoot DCS, PLC, and SIS systems. This role requires collaboration with various teams to ensure the integration and operation of critical technologies at sites such as Foster Creek and Christina Lake.

Key Responsibilities: • Monitor and maintain high system availability • Conduct break-fix of DCS, PLC, and SIS components • Document OT tasks for knowledge transfer • Collaborate on implementation of current projects • Participate in emergency response and continuity plans

Requirements: • 12+ years in Instrumentation or Control Systems field • Experience with DeltaV, Rockwell systems • Familiarity with work management systems • Class 5 driver’s license and satisfactory driving record • Legally authorized to work in Canada
