Contribute to the health of military personnel as a Physiotherapy Officer in the Canadian Forces. This role involves assessing, treating, and developing rehabilitation plans for musculoskeletal injuries and conditions.
Physiotherapy Officers are integral members of the Canadian Forces Health Services team. You'll assess musculoskeletal injuries and conditions and establish comprehensive treatment plans while emphasizing injury prevention and health promotion. Collaborate with diverse health professionals and utilize clinical methods in a supportive workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess injuries and develop treatment plans for personnel • Educate on injury prevention and health promotion strategies • Provide sports injury education and pre-deployment training • Conduct worksite assessments and ergonomic evaluations • Implement reconditioning programs to ensure operational readiness
Requirements: • Must be a licensed Physiotherapist in Canada • Experience in manual therapy and soft-tissue techniques • Strong knowledge of orthopedic and sports physiotherapy • Ability to relocate for training and postings • Availability to serve in both Regular and Reserve Forces
