Become a vital member of The Mustard Seed’s Food Security team in Greater Victoria as a Transportation and Warehouse Associate. Help with the efficient processing and distribution of food to those in need in our community.

Under the supervision of the Transportation & Logistics Supervisor, your role focuses on ensuring the safe collection and redistribution of food. You will leverage your communication and organizational skills as you interact with volunteers, staff, and community partners. This hybrid role is crucial for maintaining operational integrity and efficacy.

Key Responsibilities:
• Process and sort food donations in accordance with standards
• Operate equipment like forklifts safely
• Build daily orders for distribution accurately




• Ensure clean and organized warehouse conditions
• Conduct vehicle inspections and handle transportation needs

Requirements:
• Current BC Driver's License and clean record
• Forklift certification or readiness to acquire
• Previous warehouse experience preferred
• Food Protected certification or willingness to obtain
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry

Contribute to efficient food rescue efforts while working collaboratively in a meaningful role with The Mustard Seed.
