At BCHS, we are looking for a qualified Operating Room Nurse to join our team in Brantford and Paris, Ontario. As a key healthcare provider, you will be responsible for comprehensive nursing care in surgical settings. Essential skills include performing IV starts and venipuncture, maintaining current ACLS certification, and delivering patient-focused care aligned with our values of Care, Accountability, Respect, and Equity.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver comprehensive nursing care in the operating room
• Assist surgeons as scrub nurse or circulating nurse




• Perform IV starts and venipuncture accurately
• Ensure the highest standards of patient safety during procedures
• Collaborate with interprofessional teams to enhance patient outcomes

Requirements:
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program
• Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Current BCLS and ACLS certifications preferred
• Previous operating room experience preferred
• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
