Join School District No. 91 as a Casual Bus Driver supporting student transportation in Fort St. James. Enjoy flexible schedule while driving school buses on scheduled routes and helping students.
This casual driving role requires a BC Class 2 Driver’s License, including air brake endorsement and a clean driving record. You will transport students for both curricular and extra-curricular activities while maintaining effective communication with students, parents, and school staff. Daily inspections and preventative maintenance checks on school buses are also part of your responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate school buses on scheduled routes
• Transport students for various activities
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections
• Communicate positively with students and parents
• Perform preventative maintenance on buses
Requirements:
• Completed Grade 12 (Dogwood Certificate)
• Valid BC Class 2 Driver’s License with air brake
• First Aid Certificate and CPR training
• WHMIS 2015 Certificate and defensive driving training
• Minimum 6 months’ experience operating Class 2 vehicles
Drive with professionalism and support the transportation of students in Fort St. James.
