In this permanent, unionized position, you will assist individuals with essential daily activities and foster community inclusion. Your role includes meal planning, household tasks, and providing medication reminders as trained. The Fort St. John Association for Community Living is dedicated to promoting health and choice for its clients and values team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with cooking and grocery shopping for individuals
• Support home organization and laundry tasks
• Help with basic yardwork and maintenance
• Provide medication reminders and social activity encouragement
• Assist with achieving employment goals through job support
Requirements:
• Valid Class 5 Drivers license with 3 years driving experience
• Obtain Class 4 Driver’s license within 3 months
• Training in lifting, transferring, and seizure management
• Knowledge of crisis prevention intervention
• Experience in medication administration
