Enhance the University’s privacy initiatives as a Privacy Management Specialist. This position focuses on privacy analysis, compliance, and team-oriented efforts across academic and administrative units.
As a Privacy Management Specialist, you will excel in providing privacy advice, conducting Privacy Impact Assessments, and managing privacy incidents. Collaborating with various stakeholders, you will promote compliance with privacy legislation and alignment with institutional policies. Your expertise will contribute significantly to shaping the University’s privacy framework and addressing privacy risks proactively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide privacy advice to faculties and administrative units
• Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments for new initiatives
• Develop and maintain privacy policies and guidance
• Collaborate with IT and stakeholders for compliance
• Manage privacy incidents and follow-up investigations
Requirements:
• Degree in law or related field
• 3+ years of privacy or information security experience
• Bilingual in French and English
• Privacy certification preferred
• Knowledge of FIPPA legislation and regulations
