We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of millwork manufacturing processes, materials, and construction estimating, along with excellent analytical and communication skills.
The Estimator will be responsible for reviewing project opportunities, analyzing drawings and specifications, preparing accurate estimates and bids, and collaborating with project managers and other stakeholders to support successful project delivery.
Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of millwork manufacturing processes, materials, and construction estimating, along with excellent analytical and communication skills.
The Estimator will be responsible for reviewing project opportunities, analyzing drawings and specifications, preparing accurate estimates and bids, and collaborating with project managers and other stakeholders to support successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities Review and screen current project opportunities based on production capacity, scheduling requirements, and company capabilities.
Analyze architectural drawings, specifications, project schedules, and related documentation to understand project scope and requirements.
Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates and project bids.
Perform quantity take-offs and estimate material, labour, and other project costs.
Utilize Takeoff estimating software to prepare and manage project estimates and bids.




Collaborate with project managers and internal teams to develop competitive and accurate proposals.
Review estimates and make adjustments based on changes to project scope, drawings, specifications, or design.
Identify potential scope gaps, pricing risks, and estimating discrepancies.
Maintain organized records of estimates, bids, project documentation, and related correspondence.
Support multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy.
Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, project managers, and internal teams as required.
Qualifications & Skills 3+ years of construction estimating experience preferred.
Experience with millwork estimating, manufacturing, cabinetry, architectural millwork, or related construction environments is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of construction estimating methods, materials, and processes.
Experience with Takeoff millwork estimating software is highly desirable.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with strong attention to detail.
Ability to interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
