Step into the role of Nursing Laboratory Instructor at Memorial University in Gander. This position provides vital support in teaching laboratory techniques to nursing students.
You will be integral to the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program, collaborating with faculty to create hands-on, evidence-based lab experiences. This contractual session position requires adaptability to various teaching strategies, including the use of simulations and effective student assessment. Flexible working hours during evenings or weekends may be necessary depending on the schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
• Instruct nursing students in laboratory practicals and techniques
• Collaborate on the design and implementation of lab exercises
• Assess student performance and provide necessary feedback
• Ensure all lab equipment and supplies are available
• Support students with additional learning outside lab hours
Requirements:
• 3-5 years of relevant nursing experience
• Undergraduate degree in nursing and a master’s degree preferred
• Current registration from nursing regulatory body
• Solid ability in evaluation and assessment practices
• Familiarity with current lab operations and instructional strategies
Contribute to nursing education at Memorial University through engaging and supportive lab instruction.
