In this pivotal role, you'll report to the Global Category Manager and take charge of developing and executing global commodity strategies. Your responsibilities include managing external production material costs while fostering relationships with key suppliers.
You will also execute contracts that align with sourcing initiatives and organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop global commodity strategies for components and raw materials
Foster cross-functional buy-in from internal stakeholders
Execute contracts to manage business and supply risks
Monitor risks within commodity supply and adjust strategies
Track commodity productivity actions monthly
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in finance or technical discipline
Minimum of 5 years in commodity management
Experience in manufacturing; automotive preferred
Highly analytical with robust communication skills
Proficiency in Excel, Power Point, and databases
