Our client is a construction business that’s looking for a Purchaser.

The Purchaser will be responsible for coordinating all equipment and tool rentals required for construction projects ensuring equipment is sourced cost-effectively and available when needed. This role will negotiate pricing and terms with rental providers and suppliers, monitor rental durations to control costs, and coordinate deliveries, pickups and off-rent schedules.

The role will also manage the purchasing process by sourcing materials, tools, equipment and supplies, processing purchase orders, negotiating supplier agreements, maintaining pricing comparisons and identifying opportunities for cost savings.

The ideal candidate will have experience in equipment rentals, purchasing,



and supplier management, ideally within the construction or related industries. Robust negotiation, communication, and organizational skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities and build effective relationships with vendors.

Experience sourcing rental equipment, negotiating rates, and supporting project timelines will be highly valued.
