We are looking for a nanny to join our young family as soon as possible. Currently looking for part-time support 2-3 days a week, with option to increase hours as Mom gradually resumes working after maternity leave. We have a 6 month old and a 4-year-old who attends pre-primary.
We are looking for someone to become a long-term part of our family and our children's lives!
Both Dad works from home, and Mom works in office as well as from home but both of us need time to do our jobs while resting assured that our 6 month old is safely being looked after. Our 4-year-old goes to pre-primary from about 8 am - 3 pm so the role will primarily be spending time with the baby.
The ideal candidate will:
- be experienced and comfortable with infants (age 6 months )
- have extensive experience with children and/or ECE background
- love working with kids!
- support a screen-free approach to
- be kind, responsible, organized, punctual, and honest
- have a driver's license and car
- be able to provide references
- be willing to complete or has completed Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector check
- be flexible with hours as parents' work hours change
- able to do light housekeeping and assist with straightforward household tasks (e.g., keep kitchen tidy, help with grocery run, organize the 4-year-old's toys, meal prep)
- occasionally help with school drop off or pick up
- be respectful of our family's values
Hours will be approximately:
- 7:30 am - 2:30 pm, three days per week
- availability to add more hours or do an evening now and then would be great
Wages starting at $22/hour, based upon experience.
