Event Support Staff -Flexible / Occasional Event Work $19–$20/hour | GTA & Surrounding Areas CanadianEntertainers.ca is expanding our Helping Hands Event Team and we’re looking for friendly, reliable people interested in flexible, occasional event work throughout the GTA and surrounding areas. Applications are reviewed by email - application details are below. We provide event support for corporate, private, family and community events. Duties May Include Assisting guests and providing friendly event support Helping with fun and interactive activities Assisting with food and refreshment stations Serving guests and keeping stations clean, organized and stocked Setting up and taking down event stations Assisting with simple interactive event stations General event support as needed Training may be provided for certain assignments. Adaptable Schedule Event opportunities are offered as bookings become available. You can review the date, location and hours and choose whether to accept or decline each opportunity based on your availability. There are no guaranteed weekly hours. Pay $19-$20 per hour, depending on experience. Previous event, hospitality, catering, food-service or customer-service experience is an asset. Applicants with relevant experience and/or a valid Food Handler Certificate may qualify for the higher rate.



Basic Requirements Must be 18 years of age or older Reliable and punctual Friendly and professional Comfortable interacting with guests Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team Comfortable with basic setup and cleanup Able to reliably travel to and from bookings you choose to accept A vehicle is not required. A Police Record Check and/or Vulnerable Sector Check may be required for certain assignments depending on the role, client or venue. Event Locations Events may take place throughout: Toronto, Markham, Richmond Hill, Vaughan, Newmarket, Aurora, Innisfil, Barrie, Mississauga, Brampton, Durham Region and surrounding areas.
