At Borderline Outdoor, we are looking for more than someone who can simply assist customers. We are looking for solid, proactive salespeople who are motivated by results and know how to turn customer needs into sales.

- Strong Sales Mindset — You enjoy selling and are motivated by achieving sales results.
- Proactive & Confident — You approach customers, start conversations, and create sales opportunities instead of waiting for customers to come to you.
- Strong Closing Skills — You know how to handle questions, hesitation, price concerns, and comparisons, and confidently move customers toward a purchase.
- Independent Sales Ability — You can manage your own customers and sales process without constantly relying on a manager to tell you what to do.
- Customer Needs First — You know how to ask the right questions, understand what the customer actually needs, and recommend the right products.
- Product Knowledge — You are willing to learn our products and understand their features, benefits, and real-world applications.




- Goal-Oriented — You care about your personal performance and are motivated by sales targets and commission.
- Good Communication Skills — You are comfortable talking to different types of customers and building trust quickly.
- Self-Motivated — When the store is quiet, you take initiative to learn products, improve displays, restock, organize the store, or look for sales opportunities.
- Team Player — You respect other sales associates’ customers and understand the importance of working together as a team.

We care more about your ability to sell than your years of experience.

You don’t necessarily need years of retail experience. What we need is someone who is confident, competitive, proactive, and genuinely enjoys selling.
