We are looking for a Casual / On-call Administrative Assistants that is experienced, reliable and task-oriented with a focus on customer service. The Administrative Assistant provides office services by executing administrative systems, procedures and policies, and monitoring administrative projects.
The right person will be available to work every Friday from 8am - 430pm and on an on-call basis.
The position’s work responsibilities are diverse and can include reception at all reception points in the building, client support, data collection and reporting, data entry and billing, appointment scheduling, filing, booking travel arrangements, purchasing, special projects, and accounting and marketing assistance.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys both reception and administrative work, thrives in a not-for-profit setting,
and is always looking for ways to grow. You’re tech-savvy, detail-oriented, highly organized, and excited about using tools and systems to move the team forward.

Qualifications
Education and Certifications
- Grade 12 completion or equivalent
- Office administration certification or equivalent
Experience
- 5 years related office administration experience preferred
- Working on government employment contracts an asset
- Working in a not-for-profit preferred
- Working with the general public, including diverse client populations (e.g. Youth, People with Disabilities, multi-barriered clients, etc.)
