Birthday Party Volunteers assist staff by enthusiastically welcoming party goers into the facility and provide general support to birthday children and parents.

Responsibilities:

- Assist with set up, take down, and cleaning of party rooms.

- Welcome guests into the facility and guide them to designated areas.

- Assist with the individual parties as needed (escort guests, hand out cake, help decorate, etc.).

- Assist staff in setting up activities in the gym or other facility areas.

- Assist with general maintenance of the facility and equipment.

- To ensure the safety of facility patrons and party attendees.

- To be aware of safety and emergency procedures.

- Willing and adaptable to learning recent processes and following procedures.

- Arrive on time and ready for shift wearing proper uniform.





- Actively participate in all program activities and interact positively with children.

- Perform general cleaning tasks such as wiping surfaces, sweeping floors, and stacking chairs.

- Regularly check messages and maintain communication with supervisors.

- Be responsible for logging hours on appropriate time sheets.

- Be enthusiastic and welcoming!

WORK TERM:

- July - September

- Saturdays and Sundays

- 1-2 shift/week. Shift is 3-5 hours long.

QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS REQUIRED:

- Between 13 and 17 years of age.

- Completion of minimum of Emergency First Aid with CPR C or Bronze Medallion.

- Completion of Volunteer Training – Provided by Westside.
