Portfolio Manager | Oakville, ON

A leading wealth management firm is looking to add an experienced Portfolio Manager to its investment management team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a client-centric investment professional who enjoys combining portfolio management, high-net-worth client relationships, investment strategy and financial planning.

What You'll Do

- Manage the firm's proprietary funds and investment strategies across client portfolios
- Conduct annual KYC reviews and work closely with HNW individuals and families
- Develop tailored portfolio strategies based on client objectives, risk tolerance, liquidity needs and time horizons
- Support the onboarding of new advisors and transitioning client relationships
- Integrate investment management with financial planning, tax strategy awareness and long-term wealth goals
- Participate in investment team meetings, contributing market insights and security analysis
- Execute trades, manage cash flows and rebalance discretionary portfolios in accordance with IPS and firm mandates
- Maintain strong compliance, documentation and risk-management standards

What We're Looking For

- 3–5 years of relevant investment management and financial services experience
- Currently registered as an Advising Representative (AR)



with a provincial securities commission preferred/required
- CFA candidates who are not currently registered may also be considered
- Strong understanding of KYC, portfolio construction and investment management
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Comfortable working directly with high-net-worth clients
- Collaborative, team-oriented approach

Compensation & Work Model

$85,000–$115,000 base salary

Up to 20% discretionary performance bonus

The role is onsite 5 days/week for the first 3–6 months , transitioning thereafter to a hybrid mode with a minimum of 3 days/week in office . Attendance is required for Monday morning investment team meetings.
