We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical trade. As an Apprentice Electrician, you will work under the supervision of an experienced electrician, assisting with various electrical tasks and learning the essential skills needed for a successful career in the industry.
Duties
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
- Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to understand project requirements.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks.
- Work with electrical systems while ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to build and install electrical components in residential, commercial, or light industrial settings.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while on job sites.
Experience
- A basic understanding of electrical concepts and terminology is preferred.
- Familiarity with reading schematics and blueprints is an asset.
- Experience using hand and power tools in a practical setting is beneficial.
- Previous experience in the electrical industry is advantageous but not required.
- A strong willingness to learn and develop skills within the electrical field is essential.
License/Certification
- Driver's License and copy of drivers abstract (required)
- CSTS (required)
- First aid training is a plus
