About Us: Curran Heavy Truck and Equipment Repair is a full-service Heavy Duty Repair Facility that has proudly served the Durham region and Northumberland county for 30 years. We provide routine preventative maintenance, running repairs and major overhauls to all makes of trucks and heavy equipment. We also provide mobile in office Road/Field service for our regular clients’ to ensure their operations run smoothly.

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Technician to join our Whitby team. The ideal candidate will have a well rounded knowledge of heavy truck and equipment fleet maintenance and repair. Applicants must be self-starters who are competent at diagnosing and troubleshooting, as well as committed to quality workmanship and service. The ideal candidate would be someone who enjoys day to day variety and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform routine preventative maintenance and inspections on heavy trucks and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Perform computer diagnostics and troubleshoot faults.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed and parts used.




- Ensure all work complies with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Provide mobile on-site Road/Field service to clients as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient service.

Qualifications:
- 310T certification.
- Extensive experience with heavy truck repair and maintenance.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $45.00-$55.00 per hour
