Hope is hiring qualified marine engineers experienced in machinery maintenance. The ideal candidates will possess STCW III/1 and STCW V/3 certifications. You will take charge of maintenance tasks and supervise junior watchkeeping personnel under the direction of the 2nd Engineer. Key Responsibilities:
- Execute maintenance duties on machinery and systems
- Facilitate on-call watchkeeping responsibilities as needed
- Enter operational records into computerized systems
- Maintain logbooks in compliance with the Chief Engineer's requirements
- Assist in emergency drills and procedures Requirements:
- STCW III/1 Marine Engineering certification necessary
- STCW V/3 Crisis Management certification required
- Prior marine engineering experience preferred
- Familiarity with emergency procedures and drills
