We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. There will be a signing bonus for the right candidate, as well as early bonuses available. The ideal candidate will be motivated and willing to learn as this shop works on a variety of vehicles.
As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that all vehicles that leave the shop are safe for our customers. Our shop completes a wide range of services from oil changes, and tire changes, to specializing in transmission rebuilds and engine rebuilds and replacements and everything in between.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate testing methods and tools.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of vehicles.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.
Skills
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, and power tools.
- Robust mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex systems and components.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical information to team members.
