Pay: Competitive, based on experience About the Opportunity Our client is a well-established industrial manufacturing company in Hamilton, ON, looking for an experienced Electrical Instrumentation Technician to join their maintenance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled electrical and instrumentation professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced industrial environment and has experience troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing electrical, instrumentation, and control systems. The successful candidate will play an important role in keeping production equipment operating safely, efficiently, and reliably.

About The Position

- Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install industrial electrical systems and equipment - Diagnose electrical and instrumentation problems and determine appropriate repairs - Maintain and troubleshoot motors, control panels, sensors, switches, and electrical components - Work with PLCs, control systems, instrumentation, and automated equipment - Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on electrical and instrumentation systems - Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings - Test electrical circuits and instrumentation using appropriate diagnostic equipment - Assist with equipment installations, modifications,



and upgrades - Troubleshoot process control and automation systems - Perform electrical repairs and maintenance while following established safety procedures - Document maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment issues - Work closely with the maintenance and production teams to minimize equipment downtime - Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including lockout/tagout requirements What We're Looking For:
- Experience working as an Electrical Technician, Instrumentation Technician, Electrical & Instrumentation Technician, or similar industrial role - Robust industrial electrical troubleshooting experience
- Experience with instrumentation, controls, and automated equipment - Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings - Knowledge of PLCs and industrial control systems - Experience with motors, drives, sensors, switches, and control equipment - Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently as well as part of a maintenance team - Comfortable working in a heavy industrial/manufacturing environment - Robust commitment to workplace health and safety - Ability to work rotating shifts, including days and nights Why Consider This Opportunity?
