Pacific Blue Mechanical is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced 4th-Year Plumbing Apprentice to join our service team.

This is not a new-construction role. We are looking for someone who enjoys service work, troubleshooting, dealing directly with customers, and taking ownership of jobs from diagnosis through completion.

We work primarily throughout the Lower Mainland servicing strata buildings, commercial properties, property management clients, and residential customers.

What You’ll Be Doing

As part of our service team, you’ll handle a variety of plumbing calls, including:

- Plumbing troubleshooting and diagnostics
- Leak investigation and repairs
- Drainage and clogged drain service
- Fixture, faucet, toilet, and valve repairs/replacements
- PRV and shut-off valve replacements
- Hot water and domestic water system repairs
- Pumps and mechanical room plumbing
- Strata and commercial service calls
- Preventative maintenance
- Emergency plumbing calls when required
- Communicating findings and repair recommendations clearly to customers
- Documenting work completed, materials used, photos, and site conditions

Every day is different. We want someone who can arrive at a service call, think through the problem, diagnose it properly, and get the job done without needing constant supervision.

Who We’re Looking For

You should be

- A registered 4th-Year Plumbing Apprentice
- Experienced in service plumbing and troubleshooting
- Comfortable working independently
- Able to diagnose plumbing problems instead of simply replacing parts
- Professional and respectful when dealing with customers, strata managers,



building managers, and residents
- Organized and able to manage multiple service calls throughout the day
- Able to communicate clearly with our office and provide proper job documentation
- Reliable and accountable for your work
- Comfortable working in occupied residential and commercial buildings
- In possession of a valid BC driver’s licence with a good driving record

Experience with commercial plumbing, strata buildings, mechanical rooms, drainage, pumps, boilers, or HVAC-related plumbing is a major asset. Compensation & Advantages

$35–$42/hour, depending on experience and ability.
