Are you an experienced Abrasive Blaster who knows what properly prepared steel should look like before it reaches the paint booth?

Cambridge Pro Fab Inc. is looking for a reliable and experienced Abrasive Blaster/Sandblaster to join our growing manufacturing team in Paris, Ontario.

We are currently establishing a new in-house industrial paint and blasting operation, making this a great time to join Cambridge Pro Fab. Because this is a new area of our business, we are looking for experienced blasters who can bring their knowledge, skills, and practical experience to the team. You will have the opportunity to contribute ideas, help establish strong blasting and surface-preparation practices, and play a role in developing this new operation as it grows.

You will be responsible for preparing structural steel and fabricated metal components for industrial coating systems by removing rust, mill scale, oxidation, weld spatter, and other contaminants.

This role requires someone who understands that quality coating starts with quality surface preparation. You must be able to recognize different blast cleanliness requirements, maintain consistent surface preparation, inspect your own work, and safely operate industrial abrasive-blasting equipment.

Join Us During Our Growth

Cambridge Pro Fab is continuing to grow and expand our manufacturing operations at 6 Adams St. in Paris, Ontario.

For nearly 40 years, Cambridge Pro Fab has been producing custom steel fabrications for major industrial and power-generation projects.

The addition of our new in-house paint and blasting operation is another important step in expanding our manufacturing capabilities. This is an opportunity to join the department at the beginning, bring forward your experience, and help us build a strong, safe, and quality-focused operation.

Our work is varied and challenging. Rather than working on the same production parts every day, you will help prepare large custom steel fabrications manufactured to demanding project and coating specifications.
