We are currently seeking an Accessibility Analyst / Tester to join our team.

Job Responsibilities

- Perform accessibility testing of web and mobile applications to ensure compliance with WCAG 2.1/2.2, AODA, and other applicable accessibility standards and guidelines .
- Conduct manual accessibility testing using assistive technologies, including screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, magnification tools, and other accessibility features .
- Review business, functional, and design requirements to identify accessibility requirements and potential barriers for users with disabilities.
- Test applications for accessibility issues related to keyboard navigation, focus management, colour contrast, forms, images, headings, links, tables, dynamic content, and ARIA implementation .
- Collaborate with developers, designers, business analysts, product teams, and other stakeholders to identify accessibility gaps and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Identify, document,



and track accessibility defects, providing clear details on expected behaviour, accessibility impact, and recommendations for remediation.
- Validate accessibility fixes and perform regression testing to ensure identified issues have been properly resolved.
- Develop and execute accessibility test plans, test cases, checklists, and testing scenarios based on applicable accessibility standards.
- Use accessibility testing tools to support manual testing and identify potential compliance issues.
- Support accessibility assessments throughout the SDLC and promote accessibility best practices across project teams.
- Maintain clear testing documentation and provide regular reporting on accessibility defects, risks, testing progress, and compliance.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and work closely with cross-functional teams throughout the development and testing lifecycle.

Required Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in QA, accessibility testing, or a related role , with hands-on experience performing digital accessibility assessments.
- Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.1/2.2 Level A and AA requirements and accessibility best practices.
- Knowledge of AODA and other applicable Canadian accessibility requirements.
- Hands-on experience with assistive technologies and screen readers such as JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver .
- Experience performing manual accessibility testing , including keyboard-only navigation, focus order, screen reader compatibility, colour contrast, zoom/reflow, and form accessibility.
- Experience with accessibility testing tools such as Axe, WAVE, Accessibility Insights, Lighthouse, or similar tools .
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, ARIA,



and accessible web development principles sufficient to identify accessibility issues and communicate remediation recommendations.
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile development practices.
- Experience documenting accessibility defects and working with development teams through remediation and retesting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with developers, designers, business stakeholders, and QA teams.
