Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accountant to join our financial team. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing and maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. Your expertise in various accounting software and financial processes will drive efficiency and accuracy across all accounting functions.

Duties
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections using software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or Workday.
- Perform account reconciliation regularly to verify accuracy of financial data across multiple platforms including ADP, Ceridian, Kronos, UltiPro, and PeopleSoft.
- Enter data accurately into various accounting systems, maintaining meticulous records of transactions and supporting documentation.
- Assist with payroll processing by verifying employee hours, calculating wages, and ensuring proper deductions using tools like ADP or Kronos.
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities, resolving issues promptly to maintain clean financial records.
- Support budgeting activities by preparing reports and analyzing financial data for management review.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial reporting, audit preparations, and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, Workday, or PeopleSoft is essential.
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles, account reconciliation techniques, and data entry accuracy.
- Familiarity with payroll systems including ADP or UltiPro is highly desirable.
- Excellent math skills with keen attention to detail for precise account analysis.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a rapid-paced environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy.
- Prior experience working within financial services or related industries is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and external auditors.
