Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Alarm and Camera Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting security, alarm, and camera systems across various commercial and residential sites. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and strong customer relations .

The Alarm

Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients by delivering high-quality service and technical expertise.

Responsibilities

- Install, configure, and service alarm systems, cameras, card access equipment in accordance with project specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate system installation.
- Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and repairs to identify issues and restore optimal functionality.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and low voltage electrical knowledge to complete installations efficiently.
- Conduct system inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and client requirements.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including system configurations and service reports.




- Collaborate with clients to explain system features and provide training on system operation when necessary.
- Adhere to all safety protocols during installation and maintenance activities to prevent accidents or injuries.

Experience

- Proven experience using technology, active troubleshooting, and understanding of electrical wiring is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with alarm components, computer hardware, networking, CCTV systems, and power tools is essential.
- Knowledge of low voltage systems, mechanical knowledge related to alarm components, and schematics interpretation are desirable skills.
- Prior experience working with telecommunication systems or in a low-voltage environment will be considered a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent communication abilities are necessary for success in this role.
