We are seeking an experienced

AML Investigator to support high-risk, sensitive investigations within a Global Cryptocurrency firm. The ideal candidate will bring deep investigative experience from a regulatory authority, law enforcement agency, or similar enforcement setting

, and will be comfortable operating autonomously in a remote, high-tempo setting. You wil be supporting the business as an MLRO Delegate and helping sign off on alerts.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and conduct complex investigations related to cryptocurrency transactions and platform activity

- Investigate suspected fraud, financial crime, sanctions breaches, money laundering, and other illicit behaviour

- Analyse blockchain data, transactional patterns, and customer activity to identify risk and wrongdoing

- Produce clear, defensible investigative reports suitable for internal stakeholders and external regulators





- Act as an MLRO Delegate to help sign off on alerts once checks have been conducted.

Key Requirements

- Extensive experience conducting complex investigations, ideally within: Law enforcement, Financial regulators, Government agencies, Financial crime, compliance, or enforcement bodies

- Strong understanding of financial crime typologies (e.g. fraud, AML, sanctions, market abuse)

- Proven ability to manage sensitive cases independently and under time pressure

- Excellent analytical, report-writing, and documentation skills

- High attention to detail and strong professional judgement

- Must be immediately available or able to start at very short notice

- Eligible to work in Canada
