- Prepare and analyze financial reports for French Services media lines
- Provide guidance on interpreting and applying administrative, financial and human resources policies
- Conduct financial research and analysis to ensure compliance with accounting policies and practices
- Provide administrative and financial support to the division’s Manager and Director
- Document and prepare quarterly and annual reports for the CRTC
- Produce reports supporting financial management activities across French Services
- Prepare and analyze the department’s financial position while ensuring data integrity
- Develop financial reports, tables and analytical tools with commentary on performance
- Identify significant variances, gather business-area input and draft preliminary performance analyses
- Produce management reports to evaluate departmental budgetary performance
- Oversee daily financial operations and accurate expense data entry
- Allocate labour costs to projects and cost centres
- Prepare journal entries for approval
- Interpret and apply accounting standards, policies, methods and practices
- Follow up with departments to confirm closure of production funds
- Investigate and resolve administrative discrepancies
- Authorize fees and payments
- Support the Manager or Director on ad hoc projects

Requirements

- University degree in accounting or equivalent
- Minimum two years’ relevant experience in a similar financial role
- Skilled accounting designation (CPA) or currently enrolled in a CPA certification program
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and the MS Office Suite




- In-depth knowledge of general accounting principles
- Excellent command of spoken and written French
- Ability to organize and prioritize effectively
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Sound judgment and collaborative, team-oriented mindset
- Proactive, adaptable approach to organizational change
- Experience with SAP, BW, TM1 or Oracle is an asset
- Proficiency in English is an asset
